We also received this email. I believe that we were at least 3000 points short. A good part of that was Amtrak cancelling our Denver to Emeryville portion of the CZ last September (we had split the CZ in Denver to see Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy and Red Rocks). That put us on a bus to San Diego so we had to cancel Emeryville to LA and LA to SD. Very happy to receive this bonus from Amtrak!

Darn—I rushed over to my email after reading this thread and no luck—as of now, I will be losing Select Plus at the end of February.

I guess this means I’ll be dashing up and down the NEC chasing status while all of you wave at me from the lounges?

I really am happy for all of you who got it. Lounge access especially is a lovely perk.

Whoo Hoo! I received the same message. I was bumped up to Executive even though I was a couple thousand short!! Now if the sleeper long distance prices would just go down a bit!

I think I was more than 4,000 short -- probably out of range. Length of time in status might be a factor in the algorithm, as well. This is my 1st year making any flavor of Select.

Mine starts with W and you can see by my previous post, I got upgraded. Last name ain’t a qualifier.

Same for me. But I’m so far away from the needed points that I didn’t expect to keep my plus status

My summary says I earned 14K points. The total doesn't reflect that, nor does 6 roundtrips to NYC plus 2 to DC which is what I did last year.

I got my email and as expected i Made Select Plus again based on TQP earned in 2022. There was 1,000 more TQP than I was expecting. I suspect I made a 1,000 threshold on credit card payments which I was not consciously tracking. But it was not really necessary to make the Select Plus threshold.

Me as well. I was already pretty much resigned to no more lounges for a while.

I got the same email and only took a few trips, too. They upgraded me to Select Plus even though I was short of the the required number of TQP points. Most of the points I did have were from trips from Ann Arbor to Chicago and home again on the Wolverine Services. I only had only relatively long train trip last to Kansas City and back via the River Runner.
