Were the Pac Surfs affected by the HUGE SoCal blackout?

I live in Solana Beach, the heart of the 12 hour long blackout that cut off power to 6,000,000+ people. I was wondering if the Pacific Surfliner and the Coaster/Metrolink south of San Juan Cap were affected by this, as the news stations don't talk about it at all. Just curious how they perform when all of San Diego is pitch black at 7:30 pm. Thanks for any answers.
