By some crazy miracle, I happened to finally come across $249 on the very last day the Florida Rail Pass was being sold. Finally, I can go anywhere in my state at any time.... and that just begs the question; after I go to Winter Haven, Tampa, Sebring, and Okeechobee, where next? I'd like to spend a few weekends discovering towns like Palatka, Deland, and Winter Park but I don't exactly know what's there. Obviously Orlando, but it's too expensive for right now. Does anybody know of any interesting places to go on weekends in central/northern Florida?
