What's up with the 50?

She started out running 2 hours and 47 minutes late into her first stop at Dyer, IN. Didn't lose any time to speak of between DYE and HUN (I won't quibble over 3 minutes). But then she arrived in CHW at 11:01 this morning, but didn't leave until 12:19 this afternoon. So the train sat there for 1 hour and 18 minutes. Why do trains sit at stations that long? True it was late, did it just lose it's slot so it was waiting for freights? Poor 50 is now nearly 4 hours behind, and it isn't even to the BB yet, fwiw, it's moving at about 58 mph.

Well, I'm going to step down to the cvs station now to watch #51 roll in. At this rate maybe #50 and the Lynchburger will be here at the same time: shortly after 7pm.
