Bringing this thread back to life due to the Winter Storm currently hammering Texas and moving on to the South and Eastern parts of the Country.

Today's Texas Eaglette,#22(31) lost 2 1/2 Hours between McGregor and Ft Worth due to Weather Related Signal and Switch Problems, and Freight Interference.

It is now running over 3 Hours Late between Dallas and Longview, chugging through the Storm heading to Chicago .

Open your tap to a drip.

Yep, I always do that. But last time over Christmas when it was so cold, I didn’t get the tap balance just right between the cold and hot sides, so I had hot water (thank goodness) but no cold.

My 100-year-old house is well loved but can still be a bit cranky in the winter 😊.

Does this mean that the California Zephyr that departed from Chicago will terminate in Reno instead of Emeryville?

Edit: I just realized the post above was from Monday.. nevertheless still curious if the westbound California Zephyr terminated early?
Yes. It did,
