Would there be plenty of taxis at the station at 7:30 at night? Thats if the Crescent is on time. I'm a single lady and older and not going to walk in the dark to a hotel alone.

Looking at the timing I would have to stay overnight, maybe 2 in New Orleans. I can't leave New York until 2PM on a Tues and get to New Orleans at 7:30PM on Wed (if on time). That would be too late for car rentals and the Greyhound bus. The Sunset doesnt go out until Sat. I might time it better...
