That's where I caught the thruway bus to EMY last month. I added the thruway bus after booking the train ticket, and the $1 charge wasn't collected. The customer service agent on the phone said it just wasn't worth the trouble. You definitely do have to have a reservation and show it to board.

I put "Emeryville" - where I boarded. If I tried adding CA the text box rendered red. There aren't any errors indicated on the page. Kinda weird.

I've tried sending praise via this link. When I submit, there's no indication that it was received. The overlay just stays open and nothing else happens. :(

The inquiry can temporarily outweigh the credit line increase if you have other recent inquiries. I'd give it at least 6 months before applying for anything else and keep an eye on your score. It should recover what it lost.

Closing accounts isn't good for your score. It reduces your overall available limit and shortens your credit history. You can ask for your account to be changed to the other card to avoid this.

You'll head back up by the end of the year with those habits. Trick: Find out when your card issuers report to the bureaus and try pay off or pay down before that date rather than your billing date. That way they report lower or no balance sooner and that will help your score recover the dip. :)

Robert, the sleeper car attendant on my Zephyr trip last month, was amazing. Fun, attentive without being intrusive, and excellent at the job.

If you haven't applied for anything in at least 6 months, there might be a small, temporary (2-3 months?) dip in your credit score due to the inquiry that happens. Having a larger mix of cards is actually beneficial in many cases. The credit limit on the new card increases your overall credit...

Sometimes you don't get lucky and that explosion happens first drop. Despite repeated sweeping and vacuuming, I was still finding tiny shards months later, often with my bare feet. Corelle is banned from this household. :)

Yikes! Heading the opposite way on the zephyr in July - can't wait to see the mountains!
