About an hour of helicopter video of the wreck. Engine 816 is a total loss. Very lucky the rest of the cars stayed upright.

Making progress but a lot to go yet. The Xed out part is when the Texas Eagle got canceled and we all got bussed to San Antonio. Will be finishing the Sunset Limited run as the last trip for this year.

It would be nice to have the SS lounge during the summer when going through the Cascades. Not so much in the winter as it would be too dark before reaching even the western slope. This was a pure luck catch. Had to stay late for work and saw this extra long train by the Sounder commuter. Stayed...

Caught this extra long Empire Builder today. Due to track maintenance 6/26/2023, the Portland, OR passengers of the train had to leave by bus to Spokane. The entire Portland consist was sent with the Seattle train instead to meet those passengers. Very rare sight to see three Charger units...
