Used to ride the Empire Builder to & from college in the mid-to-late 1970s, and the Chicago NorthWestern commuter trains from Kenosha to make day trips from Mom & Dad's house to Chicago. Happily married with 2 adult kids (+ 1 "angel" special-needs kid in Heaven). Love to cook, crochet afghans and play older computer games. Looking forward to some leisurely train vacations (on both Amtrak and VIA Rail) once hubby & I retire -- and may start the trips before then, work schedules permitting.
