My husband and I took the Cardinal (viewliner) Phl - Chi. it had no ladder had to climb up on toilet then sink to get in top bunk.My legs were to short. Having the sink and toilet in the roomette was good but oh my that climb for my 6 foot Hubby.

I don't know if this has been posted before.I just read on Amtrak .com that Seat food service has been discontinued on Hiawatha .They are requesting you purchase food at Milwaukee Intermodol Station and Chicago Union Station and bring it on board.Has this been done on other trains??

I am not asking this for myself.I quit back in 1986.I will be traveling with my daughter and she does smoke and is trying to quit so since she is allergic to the patches she has been using those fake cigarettes.Can you use them on the train??? Thanks for any information you can give. nem
