Have to agree with the HI Hostel in Chicago. Stayed there when I flew in from New Zealand for my first visit to Chicago last year. And I'm booked in there in September for my next visit when I get off the CZ.👍

Just read the article 🙄... In September, after my trip east on the CZ and the Cardinal, a few days in New York, I'm going to the UK. While there, in October, I'm getting the Eurostar to Lille leaving London, St Pancras at 0700. I'll have to camp out on the doorstep to be there early enough 😁

I won't be driving on my holiday. I have to watch the pennies and here in NZ we drive on the left, I don't think it would be very relaxing having to concentrate... There's a bus down from Grand Junction. I'll be at the front in a window seat hopefully. Sounds like a nice ride.

I'm booked from San Francisco on the CZ later this year, it said on my booking 0715 from Mission St to get the train at Emeryville at 0825. It sounds a bit tight to me. Is this the normal time the Amtrak thruway connecting bus leaves town?
