If you get bedroom A, (the one which is slightly smaller than the other 3 due to the curvature of the car) since the sink & shower are arranged slightly different than on the other bedrooms, you will have more room to pass by when the lower bed is made.

Not sure about ice at the station but you can definitely get ice onboard.
