Train 80 the Carolinian ran with an extra buisness car to Richmond then added 2 coaches in Richmond for the trip to New York. Train was full with minimal delays mostly due to boarding the train. so it has 2 buisness cars, 6 coaches, baggage car, and cafe car which was full also.

I guess skipping Tampa would explain what they do with that train. If it stayed in Miami til the next day that wouldn't work. Thanks for the info

I was just at Staples Mill the other day. This is the station most people use. You can get a ride to rent a car there and its only 10 minutes or so to downtown.

The Double track issue is correct. The amtrak employee did say it wouldn't happen til after the doubletracking is completed. North Carolina already has the cars and are refurbishing them and waiting on the track work according to the Amtrak employee. Anthony
