Just booked my Rail Pass adventure! Advice please!
I've been talking about it for well over a year now, tried to convince my friends to go with me, but they all bailed so I'm doing this solo. And I can't wait. Got the 15-day rail pass and booked all my segments this morning. Itinerary is as follows: Wed. 4/18 - Leave SYR on #49 Lake Shore...- Sean

Question on Roomette prices
I'm looking into the final planning of a USA Rail Pass adventure in April 2012. Two of the LD trains we'd be taking are the California Zephyr and the Empire Builder. We're thinking of biting the bullet and upgrading to a roomette for these 2 segments since they're the longest ones of the trip...- Sean
