I would bet they'll be used on the Virginia regional, the Downeaster, the piedmont, the Hiawatha, the Pennsylvanian, and pinch hitting on various long distance routes.

Give the kid a break. Yes he could easily look a lot of this up but he's excited about trains and Amtrak. There's not a lot of eighteen year olds as excited about trains as him.
Won't interchangeability with Silvers prevent the New York section of the LS from having the bagdorm though? Especially in the winter when the set heads south to thaw out.
I'm a big fan of Amtrak but my dad and I can get from South Carolina to where we are going in Pennsylvania a lot quicker by driving. Sad part is we live about an hour from an Amtrak station but our destination would require a two plus hour car trip. When we added up the traffic plus the train...
