    Photo shots on Amtrak

    A person can shoot away from the direction of travel and achieve similar results. I've found blur to be most pronounced when shooting in angles near perpendicular to the window. As for the OP's question, creating shade near your lens (as another poster mentioned) can help eliminate some glare...
