10/11 Arv. Los Angeles
10/11 Lv. L.A. on the COAST STARLIGHT
10/11 Arv. Oakland and transfer by bus to S.F. to lay over
10/12 Lv. Oakland on COAST STARLIGHT
10/13 Arv. Portland to lay over
10/14 Lv. Portland for Seattle on the PUGET SOUND
10/14 Lv. Seattle on the EMPIRE BUILDER which at that time traversed Washington on the NP/SP&S route to Spokane
10/16 Arv. Chicago
10/16 Lv. Chicago on the BROADWAY LIMITED
10/17 Arv. New York Penn Station to lay over with friend in NJ
10/18 Lv. New York on the MONTREALER
10/18 Arv. Montreal to lay over
10/20 Lv. Montreal on the ADIRONDACK (all D&H equipment!)
10/20 Arv. New York and transfer to the BICENTENNIAL
10/20 Arv. N. Philadelphia (scary station!)
10/20 Transfer to NIGHT OWL pulled by a GG-1.
10/21 Arv. Providence, RI
10/21 Lv. Providence on the MINUTE MAN back to NY
10/22 Lv. NY Grand Central on the LAKE SHORE LTD.
10/23 Arv. Chicago and transfer to the LONE STAR
10/24 Arv. home in Houston (10,885 miles later)
