Bicycles on the Auto Train

I have taken AT many times, but never with bikes on SUV (Rear Mounted) anyone have any experience, good or bad?

No experience, but make sure that the bike rack is not a temporary rack. They won't allow that, it must be a permanently mounted rack.

The bike hitch is mounted to the frame of the car, I know, I did it meself. (and it hurt when it dropped on my head) Now, you can take the actual bike rack off the hitch, but I don't think they are talking about this.

I take it to mean the "temporary" kind of bike racks, that you see with suction cups and/or straps.
