Once again Michigan State Legislatures are talking about the funding for the 2 state supported trains in MI the Blue water and the Pere Marquette for 2006 which starts Oct 1st 2005.Once again we need you to call,e mail,write and tell them to fund these 2 trains for 2006.

Michigan state supported Amtrak trains are severly at risk for Funding Year 2006 (Begins October 1st 2005). The state is facing a $400 million budget deficit, meaning Amtrak service on the state supported line could be cut. Please email and call your elected representatives and tell them to support Amtrak service.
