Bombardier joins fight for flroida HSR

I was looking over the Jet Train on Bombardier's website when I stumbled upon something very interesting, highlighting Bombardiers proposal for Florida HSR. Check out the complete plan here.

That is a start, but I think they would want to look at a link going from Orlando up to Miami too.

A Miami-Orlando link is part of what the Ammendment calls for. The actual ammendment according to the 2000 ballot (I actually have the sample ballot from the 2000 election here in Broward County, could be worth something some day) calls for a "fixed guideway or magnetic levitation system linking Florida's five largest urban areas...with construction beginning by November 1, 2003." So to me it looks like they have a month and a half to get this sucker under construction, I doubt it will happen.
