EQUIPMENT TYPE

Does anyone know what equipment type is used on the City of New Orleans and Sunset Limited?

Is is Amfleet Equipment, Superliner or ViewLiner?

I don't even know the difference or what is newer or older.

Buzman,

Both trains will use Superliner equipment, the double decker cars. Viewliner & Amfleet cars are single level equipment and mainly run on routes on the east coast.

It was helpful too. I received my tickets the other day in the mail.

I asked for LL seating - I guess that's a good thing, let me know.

I think I might just upgrade to sleeper once I get to station or on-board.

I've got a page on Superliners here on my site, with pretty detailed photos of the interiors for everything except the sleepers (I'll get to the sleepers this summer).
