Hi,

I'm not new to Forums...but I am new to this forum. Just wanted to say Hello. I've been pouring over the internet over the past couple of days and found this site. I'm planning a trip on an Amtrak train with me, my wife and our son later this year (October). I've not been on an Amtrak train before; should I book a small weekend getaway to a city to see what it is like or ? Just looking for suggestions.

Most of use use any excuse we can to ride a train. Tell us where you are starting from and you surely will get many suggestions.
