Nows the time to start writing. Instead of just writing yourself have your friends and family write also. I try to write daily and call weekly. You can save your senators and reps email page to your favorites so its only one click away. If you can have your friends and write also we can increase our efforts 3-5X. A phone call only takes 30 secs an email not much longer. Why dont everytime you come to this site send off some emails also? It doesnt take much time at all. Just say you want Amtrak to maintain nationwide service, Amtrak is mass transit and should be funded as such, Or something along those lines..keep it short.
