Recently had the pleasure of traveling NYP to BOS and back FC on trains 2158 and 2151 respectively. Spent about half an hour at CA in NYP. It doesn't compare to most airline clubs, but it is way better than what's outside. Service was great on both legs, and reasonably on time. Couldn't agree more. Recently going from Chicago to NYC via D.C. on the Capitol Ltd, there was a 6 hour delay into WAS. So I switched from NE Regional to Acela on the last leg, WAS-NYP, to try to make up some time. It was a great choice. Couldn't have been more pleased with the service, the ride or the timeliness of the Acela! Plus it was relaxing to be on a train that MOVED, on time, without glitches, as opposed to a LD train where covering every inch was iffy. Plus every member of the Acela staff seemed to know their job and perform it professionally. The riders too were seasoned commuters. I liked the whole experience (obviously) and can't wait to repeat it (not the Cap Ltd part).
