I'd say Danziger got it right on-- Buffet doesn't need to be doing anything. He's more than set for life and generations to come-- the BNSF buy is just him playing with his money. That's what Buffet and his holding companies are know for, throwing money around. Unlike other billionaires he doesn't sit on one company.
