Eastbound Lake Cities, Train 352 (24JAN) departed Chicago 22 min late but

only got 12 miles out when the HEP failed. Attempts were made to

restore HEP by short-looping but were unsuccessful. It was found that

Amfleet-I Dinette 43361 had a bad 480-volt socket and it was not

repairable. Account cold weather the train could not operate without

heat; it returned to Chicago and the equipment from Train 353 was turned

to replace it.

Delay 3hr 07min. :(

LOL good ole Michigan service that train always has a prob.

I'm in Chicago. It's been snowing here for almost 12 straight hours....Planning to get 6 inches by the time it's over..

Gezzz..I keep forgetting to log in.......the above post is mine. Sorry about that.. :(

IGO, theres an option when you log in for your computer to save your username and password. If you are using a home computer I'd suggest using this, if you're using public obviously don't use it. Another idea would be to change the skin you use when you're logged in. To change this go to "Your Control Panel" then under options is the "Skin and Languages" button, click this and you can change the skin to Dark Blue. It's a pretty nice skin, it's what I use.
