Need info/help on planning a train trip

Hello everyone, my wife and I would like to plan a vacation via train. We would like to spend a week on and off of a train traveling to no particular destination. We are not by any means rich, but we want to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary with a nice train trip. Any help would be appreciated.

you will want an "all aboard" fare, good for up to 3 stopovers, with various prices depending on 'zones' travelled (west, central, east, florida). Best suggestion is use a travel agent who knows amtrak thoroughly (and gets his commission from Amtrak so you pay nothing). Try Gene Poon / [email protected]
