I am ticketed on the Three Rivers in October from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia. I am thinking about leaving a couple of hours earlier by taking the unreserved Pennsylvanian instead. I was told by the ticket agent that I can do this with a Three Rivers ticket.

I notice that a "Business Class" seat on the Pennsylvanian is only $18.00 each way, plus your coach fare. What exactly is business class? What do you get for your extra $18.00?

One gains more legroom, a free soft drink or coffee, and a free newspaper. Additionally most reports that I've been hearing indicate that the old Metroliner Club cars are being used on this route. That means wider seats that recline better, since seating is 2 & 1 instead of the normal 2 & 2. No guarentees though that you will see one of those cars, but odds are in your favor.
