Sounds like a nice trip and I’m looking forward to your continuation.

You are absolutely right about the quite ride in a train through snow. The soft snow acts as a sound absorber and makes an already quite mode of transit absolutely hushed. Traveling through fresh fallen snow is always a great train ride.
