I am concerned about my up coming trip to Califorinia on the CZ. I have read many forums on the delays of this train and I have some connections that are quite close in time. What happens if the train is late for connections? Thanks Pat

Pat,

If they are Amtrak connections, then they should probably be guarenteed connections. That means that Amtrak will be responsible for getting you to your ultimate destination, even if the train is late. That could mean a later train if one is available or a bus.

If they are not Amtrak connections, then you are on your own.

If you can be more specific about the connection, then one of the other members or I might be able to give you more information and a better idea of what to expect.
