Trip on SW Chief 5/27

My trip isn't far off now and I'm getting a little anxious about all the security alerts from today. I will be boarding in STL to KCY to catch the Chief. Does anyone know if any security measures have been implemented at either of these two stations?

I can tell you that last time I went thorugh STL on the Texas Eagle, they were pretty tight on security. (December 2002). The staff were sure not to let any passengers out of the station until a few minutes before the train departed, and I went in there for a newspaper, and they wouldn't let me back on the train until the general boarding announcement was made.
