use of metropolitan lounge

Hey, I don't suppose that if we ride first class TO chicago that we'd get to use the Met. lounge the next day before going coach to Omaha?? Just thought I'd ask.

Sorry, but no. If you had a same day transfer, then yes you could have used the lounge. However, since you going out on the next day, that will cost you.

If you were at any other lounge and you found a sympathetic attendant, you might get away with it. However Chicago's lounge is way to busy for them to allow it. There are times when it's standing room only in that lounge and people are sitting on the floor. In fact I've done that myself once, I found a corner and sat on the floor.

That's also why they don't allow you to bring your luggage into the lounge, as it's way to busy. They'd have people tripping and falling over the luggage.
