VL2 for the Cardinal?

One of my few-if-ever chances to ride the Cardinal will be around Labor Day. Any chance at all they'd run a Viewliner Ii on 51/52? I’d sure like to experience one before I’m too old to travel.

Chances are you'll have to ride a Silver Teain to ensure you get a VII, with the Lake Shore probably the next Train to get a VII if Amtrak Management ever starts using them instead of parking them.

Based on an AU Membees trip this week on the Meteor,it seems there are some design and Mechanical Flaws that will require Shopping them.

So look for a long delay before the Card will get one, if ever!!!

The Cardinal does run the VII baggage/sleeper, but unfortunately, it's not available for booking.
