WWII Commercial Pictures with Trains

Don't know what the deal is with these. Looks like some sort of commercial shoot for a client? But, some interesting old train related pictures, even if they are posed.

Definitely posed. Car is not coupled to anything else. In one shot part of a railroad name can be seen. What you see is C&St.L. I can think of two possibilities: NC&St.L (Nashville, Chattanooga, and St. Louis) or NYC&St.L, commonly called the Nickel Plate.
