Superliner trains' removal and restoration of cars (2022-2023)

Has anyone been on a Superliner car that's been refurbished? The refurbishments were promised starting back in 2021 but I haven't seen a single confirmation that any of these cars are out there yet. I rode the Coast Starlight twice last year and none of the cars were refurbished.

Coast Starlight overnight trip from August 2022

I didn't see this section on the forum until long after I posted my first trip video on YouTube! This is a video I shot late last summer riding the Coast Starlight overnight from Seattle to San Jose. It's a little long, but I wanted people to get some nice train vibes to put on in the...

I was able to catch one photo of 301 from my window one day late last year! I love this livery, despite...

    Urban Seattle photo spots?

Hello fellow photo nerds, I'm a long-time photographer who has taken up photographing the trains around Seattle. I can see the Empire Builder and Cascades from my window, actually, so I started there but recently I've graduated to finding spots near the BNSF yard and grain elevator from which to...

    Hello from rainy Seattle

Hi all, I'm up here in Seattle. I've loved Amtrak for a while now, after taking the train coast-to-coast in a roomette (well, on the Zephyr portion, at least) about a decade ago as a recent college grad. Since then I've lived in Boston and rode Acela and the Regional to NY for work, and now up...
