pictures help some - Thanks Jon I found this site about Sunset Limited. It was helpful too. I received my tickets the other day in the mail. I asked for LL seating - I guess that's a good thing, let me know. I think I might just upgrade to sleeper once I get to station or on-board.

So where can I get some photos of the Superliner for these trains?

Does anyone know what equipment type is used on the City of New Orleans and Sunset Limited? Is is Amfleet Equipment, Superliner or ViewLiner? I don't even know the difference or what is newer or older. Thanks

I just spoke with amtrak - they told me the #2 train Sunset Limited is running and will be as far as they know. The trains coming down out of Washington and Charlotte will be affected by major CSX track work starting Apr 24 - June 22 -track between Savannah & Jacksonville is being replaced...
