Caltrain terminates usually at San Jose Diridon or Tamien, rarely Gilroy. The San Joaquins also runs to Sacramento. Amtrak runs a lot of corridor routes, like the Capitol Corridor in the SF bay area or the Saluki in Illinois. I don't know much about the Surfliners, however.

I am wondering what happened to the MSTS Class 50 and the BNSF SD-40 that were available for download. There were other coaches that disappeared off the Microsoft MSTS website. It is now replaced by the MSTS 2 message. Is there any other site that has it available?

Calling 1-800-USA-RAIL is a good idea. It is very helpful. However, if you call 1-800-USA-RAIL, you need to be in a quiet place, for Julie detects all the background noises. I have talked to station agents for on time rates, but not very sure about calling.
