No, in 1974, the first year the Adirondack operated, CP "Skyline" Domes were leased and painted into D&H colours. (these are the same domes still in use today on VIA's Canadian and Chaleur) They were later replaced by Amtrak domes.

It was a proposal in a report from 2005: http://www.citywindsor.ca/documents/Windsor_What_Now.pdf I still like to think that the reason VIA has not invested in a major up-grade at their Windsor Station as something is still in the works for a new location on a direct line to the tunnel.
