Congratulations Sean! It looks like you'll be coming up my way. I got my BA in music from FSU and I now in the process of getting my MS at FSU. What are you thinking of in terms of a major? Anyway, welcome to the Seminole family!
To answer the question about Amtrak in Tallahassee. The Sunset...
I spent a wonderful week and a half in Buffalo enjoying the sites and the cooler weather. I left Buffalo early in the morning. Amtrak had pushed back the departure time 20 minutes supposedly because of CSX track maintanance (although I didn't see any during my trip). I was very surprised to find...
Your stuff should be fairly safe in the sleeper but I wouldn't leave things lying around when you leave your room. I always put everything away before leaving and I carry things like my digital camera with me. If you close your shades and door no one should know whether or not you are there...
A few weeks ago I started out on a very exciting trip. It was my first Amtrak trip in a very long time. I was taking the train from Orlando, FL to Buffalo, NY and then returning a week and a half later. Even though I was prepared for the worst, the trip went very well.

It's probably someone who thinks he's communicating with Amtrak. This site is not Amtrak. Contact Amtrak directly by going to www.amtrak.com or calling 800-USA-RAIL for help with your trip.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to explain a little about where we are talking about. Vancouver is in Washington State and is seperated from Portland and Oregon by the Columbia River. The "Yellow" line was originally to go over the river to Vancouver but because the citizens of Vancouver voted...
LED's do burn out eventually but they last thousands of hours longer then light bulbs. They also use about a quarter of the electricity that light bulbs do so they greatly reduce electrical costs. That's why you see so many cities switching their traffic lights to LED's.
