Several years ago, I planned a long trip with my mom that included an Amtrak leg from Emeryville to Denver. I was trying to compare dates, fares for coach and sleepers, etc., in order to plan the trip. I found a website that had published a list of fares for dates several months long and with all the different fare classes in table form that made it easy to see on what dates the lower fares were offered. It was not an Amtrak site, but rather an Amtrak enthusiast site. But I have not been able to find it since, and wondered if anyone else knew of this site. I am now trying to plan a very long circle tour of the US (starting in my hometown and traveling in a big circle on multiple lines and ending up back in my hometown). It is v.e.r.y time-consuming to use the Amtrak site to glean the information and I was hoping someone on this forum knew of this other website and could publish the link. Thanks! PS--yes, I did bookmark the site, but that was 2-3 computers ago. Lol!

The site to which you are referring may be amsnag, which is no longer in existence.

However, a review of this thread may help you determine the applicable buckets for your route:

I am really happy to have, appreciate and refer often to the Fare bucket list that niemi24s puts on here and the California Zephyr fare chart he did for April and May of '24 is great but the work to do this must be very time consuming for him. (Thank You) There is really no excuse a huge corporation such as Amtrak cannot bring their website up to the 21st century. Even the worst bus lines and airlines in the country offer a easy multiple departure date searchable fare locator most requiring just one click to change date many offering a month's calendar of fares. If all these other travel companies and an amazing an individual like Paul Marlin can put together 30 days worth of fares for every train and class surely Amtrak could if they so desired !
