    Thanksgiving Railfanning

Thanks for the help guys. I do agree, extra Arrows at Princeton wouldn't really have much meaning. Is Levittown or some other place between philly and Trenton (other than North Philly) safe?

    NEC Speeds

I've tried searching it up online and I can't seem to find anything. Does anyone know what the NEC speed limits/zones are for the Acela between NYP and BOS? Thanks in advance, TEB

    Empire Corridor Electrification

I have heard of this in the past - not sure if that info was trustworthy, or if the idea is still being considered. I heard something about electrifying the Empire Corridor for faster service, do you guys know anything about this?

    TM locomotives?

Forgot to say this: It would use the catenary function in the proposed Long Island Sound tunnel, or on the NEC.

    TM locomotives?

Yeah, there would be limited service for it to run on, but it could be helpful if Amtrak were ever to expand onto Long Island.

    TM locomotives?

This idea randomly came to me today. If Amtrak ordered TM (triple mode) locomotives (catenary, diesel, 3rd rail) what service would they run and how would it run? Again, just a random idea that came to me today. What do you guys think?

    Thanksgiving Railfanning

I'm thinking of railfanning the NEC on Thanksgiving to catch the extras. Is it possible to catch them at a place like Larchmont, NY, or should I head down to North Philadelphia or some place around there? Thanks, TEB

    Railfanning near Boston

Hey guys. I'm going to Boston next month via Acela, which means I'm looking to railfan around there. From what I've heard, Mansfield is the best place, with 150-mph Acelas and 125 Regionals, and 2 tracks and low platforms for the full high-speed blast. Is Mansfield in fact in the 150-mph zone...

    Pacific Parlour and Business Class

Hey guys. I'm going on the Coast Starlight the summer after this one, and I'm wondering, can business class access the full Pacific Parlour? I know wine tastings are available, but does business class have access to the whole car? Thanks! TEB

    HHP8s?

Hey everyone. I've seen the HHP-8s in many vids, but have never seen them in real life. What happened to them?

    HHP-8s

Hey. I've been wondering- do the HHP-8 engines still run? If so, is it very rare? Or have I just been unlucky? Thanks, TEB

    Superliner trains in Penn Station

Yeah, those are cool. But, those bi-levels support high platforms; they board on one level then they split into a lower and upper level. On the Superliner, you board on the lower level, which has an entrance which is very close to the tracks. (Low platform.) Then it has stairs leading to a...

    Superliner trains in Penn Station

I know that superliner trains have low doors, but penn station and trains around there (NEC) mainly use high platforms, therefore, mainly Amfleet/Viewliner cars are there. It's too bad that Superliner service can't make its way to the NEC/East Coast. If Amtrak finds a way to make this possible...
