hi everyone - is there any way to find out where in the train a certain car will be located - example - empire builder west bound - car #2730 which is a sleeper car- just would like to know if near the dining car, viewing car or near the end of the train - thanks

my question is can i use a cardboard box as luggage if it meets the size and weight requirements and is sealed properly. thanks

we have booked a trip on the empire builder and was asigned roomette 13 which i find is on the lower level. any input on if we are better off on the lower level or if the upper level would be better.
