My husband and I are taking a one way trip in December from Phoenix to Milwaukee. There are a few different train options. Have any of you take this route and what was your experience.. This will be my husbands first train trip... I want him to have a great experience

I was on the Hiawtha running from Milwaukee to Chicago on Tuesday.. Way over sold, people we sitting on the floor, while other stood where ever they could. I was glad my niece and I got to the station early and got a seat!!!

I also had Nancy as the lead attendant on my EB trip fom Settle to Milwaukee... She was beyond wonderful!!

I ordered the chicken strips. They were microwaved and awful. But both the hotdog and cheese burger were very good.

I would bring an extension cord. That way you can plug in the DVD and your phone. Have fun

Not true at all... The prairies are wide open spaces...homes, small towns, history of the United States through your eyes.. An experience you will never forget... The train is like looking back in time!!!! Enjoy every minute.. I just took this trip and want to do it again.

Getting ready for my long trip today!!! Seattle to Milwaukee. I'm so excited I am packed up and ready to get on the train.. To bad it doesn't leave until 4:40:)

Milwaukee is a great town!! I'd stay away from the mall. Nothing good goes on there. I'd just take a long walk and look at the beautiful buildings. Take a cab ride to USINGER SAUSAGE COMPANY... the very best!! :mellow:
