Leaving Los Angeles at 10:00 pm are the roomettes made up for sleeping when boarding?

Yep, that's the origination point for #2 so the SCA wants to hit the hay ASAP also!
Thank you, I was hoping to hang out with another couple in the observation car for awhile after departure and we can plan on setting up the roomette for traveling the next day.

Our past several trips on #2 out of LA, we usually return our bedroom back to daytime configuration and stay up a while. We leave the upper bunk down to stow stuff there when I'm not up there sleeping.
