Not much info but station master at CVS said that engine did something unexpected and engineer suffered bad whip-lash and needed medical attention. At least 20 years on the job and pretty clear he didn't do anything wrong. Amazing to me that it only set them back an additional 2.5 hrs at 4AM! Maybe he was able to drive on to GBO?

Out of curiosity, with "not much info" how can it be "pretty clear he didn't do anything wrong"? Not saying he did or didn't, but that second statement is called into question by the first one.

CVS station master knows the guy well. Says he's been working both sides out of Atlanta for at least 20 years. I should have said "unlikely he did anything wrong" :)
