20-tons boulder damaged track and a freight train; CZ 5/6 both delayed

This might be interesting. A 20 tons boulder damaged track and a freight train at Bond, CO. Our train #5 was stuck and is now 7 hours delayed. Not as bad as the 13 hours delay of #6 we met yesterday though.

Yep. Be sure to book sleepers on winter travel. Long delays would be a joy for sleeper accommodation but understandably a pain for coach car travel

Unless they run out of food and the toilets back up, as was reported during the Virginia snowstorm.

That sucks. Im guessing those Amfleet was not designed for 48+ hours LD trip
