Any idea why 5(7) is stopped in Bellevue, Nebraska? It is showing as service disruption, and was 3 minutes late out of Creston, Iowa.

Yikes, that's a long time sitting in Bellevue. Except for some high winds, the weather's clear.

Sounds like they hit a trespassing automobile in the area where I reported it last night. Seems to be 9(!!!) hours late.

No fatalities is what I've been told. I spoke with a friend of the engineer, and said they're fine.

No. This one is the California Zephyr that left Chicago on Feb 7 and struck a car in Nebraska later that evening, I do believe.
