While slightly o.t. these are examples of why we should have reliable and avilable rail transit, and why it needs to be used.

That section of 94 is always a nightmare. It's only two lanes, with heavy truck traffic, and white-outs are common. Plus, the wind turns the highway into solid ice.

I've turned down jobs in Battle Creek solely because I refuse to do that commute in the winter.

I feel just awful for everyone involved.
