You just get the 750 points, instead of the normal 2 points per dollar.

And of course if your trip occurs while the double point promo is still running, then you'd get 1,500 points for one way, 3,000 roundtrip.

But you only get 750 rail points each way; the double points promo doesn't help you reach select or select plus status faster.
