Hello, I have ridden Amtrak in the past with my husband and always in coach. Our first ride was the Cardinal to DC for vacation in the early 2000s, a short trip in PA from Mt Joy to Philadelphia, and a long trip in 2018 on the Cardinal to Chicago, then the Empire Builder to Glacier for a couple of days and on then on to Seattle. My next adventure is a solo in a Roomette on the Cardinal and Southwest Chief to Kansas. I found this forum while looking for advice about what to expect. I have already found some good information. Thank you very much.
